St Moritz Cricket Club Announces Partnership with the Ruth Strauss Foundation

St Moritz Cricket Club is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the Ruth Strauss Foundation, a leading charity dedicated to supporting families facing the loss of a parent to cancer and driving research into non-smoking lung cancers.

As part of this partnership, the Ruth Strauss Foundation will be the chosen charity for the iconic Cricket on Ice tournament 2026, taking place from 11th - 14th February 2026 on the frozen lake of St Moritz. This world-famous event brings together international teams, supporters, and the global cricket community in a spectacular alpine setting — making it the perfect platform to raise awareness and funds for a cause close to the sport’s heart.

The Ruth Strauss Foundation spokesperson wrote:

"We’re delighted to have been chosen as the charity of the year by St Moritz Cricket Club. At the Ruth Strauss Foundation, we believe in the power of community coming together and through this iconic festival of cricket, unlike anything else in the world, together we can raise vital awareness and support for families facing one of life's toughest tests."

Pete Veal, President of St Moritz Cricket Club, added:

“We’re honoured to partner with the Ruth Strauss Foundation. Cricket has always been about community and connection, and together we hope to make a meaningful difference for families who need support.”
