Introducing Saptarshi Chakraborty

Saptarshi Chakraborty also commonly known as Rishi to everyone is from India and currently residing in Dusseldorf, Germany for work. He is passionate about cricket and always wants to get involved with this great game. He started umpiring 5 years back in Western Australia and was a member of  WACUA (Western Australia Cricket Umpire Association). He officiated in Premiere league cricket in Western Australia and was also part of International Veterans Cricket in Perth. In India he did umpiring at CAB (Cricket association of Bengal) club cricket.

We asked Rishi why he thinks he is uniquely suited to umpire at COI. Rishi said, "As a person who always wants to try new things and gain new experience . I don't think any other platform would give me this. It's always a winning situation for me as on one hand I am able to pursue what I love the most with something as unique as COI."!
