The following teams compete for the 23^nd Cricket on Ice Trophy in 2011:

    - Cholmeleians XI - Old Boys from Highgate School / UK
    - Winterthur XI - Switzerland
    - Lyceum Alpinum XI - students from Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz / School 

The level of cricket is high but moderate and depends highly on the fairness and friendship spirit between the teams. (“For when the one great scorer comes to mark against your name, he writes - not that you won or lost, but how you played the game.”)                  

Players dressed in white (usually men) stand around for hours on an oval-shaped cricket ground and try to out-manoeuvre their opponents. However, everything is not as it seems.
